Vacancy for a Project Manager

ECNC – European Centre for Nature Conservation in Tilburg, the Netherlands is looking to recruit an:

ECNC Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to international and national projects in ECNC’s Programme on ‘Nature and Society’, and will also provide contributions to other relevant ECNC programmes.

Main tasks
• Coordinate the development and implementation of international and national projects
• Contribute to projects on issues of content
• Assist in communication for biodiversity activities
• Carry out literature searches, interviews and actor analyses
• Write minutes of meetings, project reports, papers and digest communication material
• Organize and participate in international and national workshops and meetings and give presentations
• Contribute to furthering the Countdown 2010 initiative on international, national regional and local levels in Europe

Requirements
• Bachelor degree in relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in relevant enterprises and/or organizations
• Or Masters degree in relevant field and proven practical experience in relevant field
• Project management skills
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both in writing and verbally

What will ECNC offer you?
ECNC offers you a dynamic, international and pleasant work environment. Salary will range between € 2160 and € 3528 gross per month. For non-Dutch people a 30% tax deduction ruling may apply, depending on decisions of the Dutch tax authority.
