Announcing the winners of the SEENET poster competition

ECNC-European Centre for Nature Conservation is proud to announce the winners of the SEENET poster competition (poster.seenet.info). Competition was fierce and fantastic posters were submitted, for which we would like to congratulate all participants.

The judges considered the criteria (relevance to the topic and understanding of connectivity in nature, originality and creativity) and awarded the following prizes to the following artists:

1st prize winner is Antonio Veres (age 11) from Croatia, for his poster “Ecoduct”

2nd prize winner is Olga Zaika (age 12) from Ukraine, for her poster “Don't separate them!!!”

3rd prize winners are Lauševiæ Pavle and Tufedžiæ Vojislav (age 9) from Serbia, for their poster “Tunel za automobile a šuma za životinje!”

The SEENET Committee will award the first prize of 500 Euros, the second prize of 300 Euros and a third prize of 100 Euros to the winners’ schools. The prizes will allow the winners’ classes to visit a national park in their country.

Winner pupil Antonio Veres and an accompanying parent or teacher will be invited to the Belgrade Conference in October 2007, and will be recognized at the SEENET prize-giving ceremony.
